The Healthy Teaching Kitchen on a Budget class is a series of 3 monthly classes scheduled during January-March, April-June, July-September, and October-December. This class aims to help Veterans stretch their food budget. Topics include: grocery shopping and meal planning (Class #1); meal prep and cooking recommendations to help manage Diabetes, High Blood Pressure and other diseases (Class #2); and simple meals and snack ideas (class #3). All classes are taught considering the needs of Veterans that are experiencing financial difficulties.
