The Great Plains Bowlers, from Wichita, presented a check for $4,885 to Vicki Bondie, acting Dole VA Medical Center Director, money they raised in donations while selling  chocolate Easter bunnies. Their donation will be used to help Veterans, and to support the ongoing mission of the Dole VA Medical Center, “to improve the health and well being of the Veterans we are honored to serve.”

Ms. Trepoy, one of the bowlers, stated that “The chocolate bunnies were not a great seller until the people found out that the money was going to be used to help Veterans, then they just flew out of the boxes!”

The Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center depends on the goodwill of our benefactors and volunteers who wish to give something back to America’s heroes. To make a cash or non-cash donation, please contact the Dole VA Voluntary Service Coordinator, Bill Adkins, by calling (316) 685-2221 ext. 53222.
