The Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center will be hosting a Caregiver Support Fair on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in recognition of National Family Caregiver Month and National Hospice and Palliative Care Month. The Caregiver Fair will host a variety of informational tables for VA services and community organizations. Featured events include the Blessing of the Hands at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., performed by VA Chaplains and at 1:00 p.m. Conni M. Mansaw from the Central Plains Area Agency on Aging will give a presentation on Caregiver Self Care. Veteran Caregivers are welcome to bring their Veteran to the event, as there will be accommodations in place.
