The Joint Commission - Unconditional Full Standards Accreditation
Dole VA Medical Center has been Joint Commission accredited since 1955, with the award of another successful, unconditional three-year accreditation in July 2010.
Other Accreditations/Achievements
We have also received excellent external reviews from the College of Anatomical Pathology, Evironmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Human Capital Management Review.
Community Involvement
During 2007 the Dole VA responded to victims of the Greensburg tornado, southeast Kansas flood/oil spill and participated in the National Disaster Medical System drills.
